Tango

A proposta, como o nome indica, é que Tango seja um local para se lembrar da Argentina. E, pelo menos em relação ao sabor das empanadas, estão certíssimos. Provei uma de queijo e presunto (jamon y queso) e, de tão boa, repeti a mesma.
Mas o local peca, e muito, no atendimento. Mas eu fui numa comemoração de aniversário, pode não ter funcionado como normalmente funciona.
Quando eu voltar (prometo!) reavalio.

Heard about this place because a friend of mine told me that the pizza here is great!
This nice place in Flamengo is dedicated to Argentina, specifically to Tango. They serve empanadas, pizzas, Quilmes (argentinian beer) and the chopp is from Stella Artois (not argentinian, but good, refreshing). The empanadas are pretty good, I’ve tried one that comes with sausage, provolone cheese and chimichurri (a typical sauce… I’m not sure if it is from Uruguai or Argentia, though), but one is not enough to satisfy a hungry person! I did not tried the pizza, but it was looking good… they make it in a wood-​burning stove… I’ll definitely coming back SOON to try that! They have individual pizzas as well as for two, and the price orbits around 20 to 40 reais (the empanadas were 7 reais).
The ambient is very good, there are some tables in the street and some on the interior.
If you are by Flamengo, you should definitely check this place!

UPDATE: Ok, the pizza is good indeed, nice ingredients with a thin crust… but I think it’s too expensive! 30 reais for an individual pizza… I think that worth it if you go with someone else and order the 2-​person pizza. Otherwise… well, just order Domino’s and you’ll be fine

Bar aberto em 2014, uma grande adição ao Flamengo. Mesas na calçada e ambiente legal. O cardápio não é extenso. Os destaques são as empanadas argentinas. Tem Quilmes, pizzas com chimichuri, alguns vinhos, alfajores. As empanadas são deliciosas e o preço é (ainda) honesto.
