An excellent restaurant for a business or large meal. Very high quality meat, a salad bar that can be a meal itself and very good service.

I went together with some colleagues. My colleague had said that this restaurant was part of a chain. I am not a fan of chain restaurants but this was a positive surprise! Really nice food and excellent caipirinhas. The salad bar, meat and service are top quality. I liked the fried bananas.

I love Rodizio’s or as they should be really called Churrascarias. I’ve been to several of the Fogo de Chão franchise, but dining in São Paulo beats any other approximations. Everything, except the bill, was excellent. The signature picanha did it’s apparition twice during the night and left me longing for the third strike. The pão de queijo had a perfectly moist and chewy heart. Fried bananas and the grilled pineapple(abacaxi) provided the sweet cue to flip the signal to red.

I come here very single time I am in town. I’ve eaten at numerous Fogo de Chao’s in the US(Chicago, Addison — TX to name a few) but the meat here is by far better than in the US. The difference is the salad bar. The salad bar in the US is better but the meat is better in Brazil. They have blood sausage here which they don’t in the US. This is something that I highly recommend. It is different than other blood sausages in Brazil. The ones here are a lot tastier. I told a friend to try the blood sausage when he came here and he gave me a look of disgust. However, the next day, he told me that he loved it and ate 4 more pieces. The next time we went back, the first thing we requested was the blood sausage and we each took 4 pieces. What I like about here are the sauces that they give you. They give you a chimichurri sauce for your red meats and a greenish/mint sauce for your lamb. The chimichurri sauce here is so much better than in the US. You pretty much just have to put the lamb sauce away because this chimichurri sauce on the lamb is fantastic. For North Americans, when they bring you the meats, you need to ask for medium rare(Mal passado) or else they cut you slices of well done. For dessert, get one of the Crème’s. Either the crème de papaya or the crème de manga. Those are delicious and they give you a graham cracker with it. However, if you want, you can also order a pineapple with cinnamon. They don’t bring this around on the meat sticks like other churrascarias and it’s not on the menu but they pretty much give you a whole slice of pineapple(about 2 in thick) grilled and coated with cinnamon. Talked about a head rush!!! I usually leave here more than full and rush back to the hotel so I can rest/recover/take a massive dump afterwards.

Not sure if any of you been to Fogo Chicago before, this is a Brazilian Steakhouse. They are many of them here in the U.S. I told my driver I would like to go to a steakhouse, and he took me here, which I was a little disappointed when I first saw this, because we have Fogo in the U. S, and I been to the one in Chicago, so when I travel to Sao Paulo in Brazil, I thought he would at least recommend something more traditional. We were there during lunch time, which I am not recommend, because is a buffet and the passing steak Brazilian style, if you been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, you know exactly what I’m talking about. For lunch, is really heavy. Once we seated, and once again, they brought out many different type of brand, I think is a trap, cuz they want you to fill it up in brand, and again, Cheese brand, awesome! lol They came around with different type of meat, chicken, steak, sausage, including chicken heart. Yes, Brazilian loves Chicken hearts, and no, I didn’t try it, but to me is very interested, I guess Chinese not the only one that eat everything. lol Don’t get me wrong, I like Fogo, I was just hoping to try something more traditional. Overall, I will recommend this restaurant, but only for dinner, you don’t want to go there for just a light salad Is very expensive, I think the bill for 2 of us is came out to $ 275 rio, which is approximately little over $ 110.00, I think that’s expensive for lunch, right? No? I dunno. lol

One of the best steakhouse, if not the best, in SP. The salad bar is great and the meat even better. Highly recommended!

It’s all about the beef, of course, and Fogo did not disappoint. However, if you see a server out with the lamb shoulder, make sure you put your coaster to green, because that is the tastiest cut of them all.

Outstanding experience. Grilled beef meat in many different ways. Special mention to capinha which is unknow in Europe but so tasty!
