This is the restaurant at the hotel I was staying at in Sao Paolo. It is located on the 2nd floor, and there is a lot of good things to say about it. For breakfast, they have a free buffet if you are a hotel guest. It opens promptly at 6am, which is great for when I got back from work at that time. Be greeted by some of the juiciest and freshest fruits you can feast on. Soft rolls and bread await with jam, ham, cheese, and other things to spread on top. For hot food options, there is nothing vegan friendly. Mostly things like scrambled eggs, sausage, cold cuts, and other standard breakfast items. A selection of fresh squeezed juices are available to wake you up and get your daily vitamins. The juices are probably the best thing about this place. It really is super fresh and perfectly sweet. For lunch, there is a pretty large menu, and I was able to vegan-fy some items by omitting cheese or meat. Plenty of seating options, and the servers are pretty attentive. There is not much English going on, so just be prepared if you don’t speak much Portuguese. Overall, this place worked in a pinch for when I didn’t have time to go out and find myself some food.

When I went into the restaurant, I was tired and did not want to wait for something made to order. Since I wanted to get in and out, I just ordered the evening buffet. I grabbed some grill chicken and some lightly battered fish along with some white rice. The food has potential. It just tasted like it had been sitting for a while. Flavor-wise, it was pretty good, but having sat for a while, the chicken was a little tough and while it looks moist, it was pretty dry. The desserts were good. I didn’t try them all, but what they had was good. If you’re in the hotel and don’t want to bother getting out, the hotel restaurant is okay. If you’re craving some awesome food, get out and explore!
