Pretty good food, tried the Halifax Donair. Pita made in-house was unreal, the Donair itself lacked some punch, should have added some ingredients. Devoured the thing but was still hungry afterwards, had to get something else to eat. Parking is minimal and the bathrooms are horrendous, best thing is to get your food to go. Probably eat here again, but would mix it up and try something different.

Homemade PITA. Like for real. Let me state that again. Fresh, homemade pita. It’s soft and warm and good. I had the chicken and it had a lot of flavour and a bit of crispy edges that made it extra good. The veggies were fresh and plentiful. The sauces were decent, perhaps a bit too much. Portion was generous. I’m definitely going back!

Just plain super delicious!!! The area Donairos is in isn’t the most scenic or beautiful but don’t let appearances fool you. The décor inside doesn’t seem the most stellar but don’t let that fool you.
We always go for the Halifax donair which never disappoints us. The bread they use is amazing and made always fresh and baked right in the oven as opposed to some others who have pre made pita bread. Generous amounts of beef, tomatoes, and red onions with a sweet sauce to die for.
Super fresh and always tasty with an owner who is not one for words but is always friendly when you come by. When in Abbotsford make a stop here

No customer service at all. The guy who seems to be the owner was quite rude and made us wait for over an hour for the order. He surely requires some assistance in the kitchen. Although the was food was good but when u go to a restaurant you also demand customer service.

The absolute best!!!
The smell captures you before you even get through the door and then explodes.
The service was incredible. The food equally so.

Read the reviews and took my wife there. It was ok. No big deal really. My wife asked the dude if he was the owner and he says no? His picture is on the freakin’ posters on the windows! Friendly factor… zero. Environment was excellent, service ok, food passable but my lamb was dry and lacked sauce. My wife ordered fallafel balls and she said ho hum. Value felt cheap. One napkin place, no dressing on salad, no hurry to return

This is as fresh as it gets! They make the bread fresh and into the oven when you order it! The meats are delicious. The falafel is good. The bread has that stone oven taste. You must try this great food made with love from an incredibly hardworking couple.

I visited this restaurant at their old location and it was instantly my favourite place. Since opening their new establishment I have visited twice with great excitement. I waited about 10 minutes and the staff was so nice, washrooms clean, and I even saw in there cooler which was organized, swept and clean. I’m very impressed with this business and would recommend it to everyone. The owner takes great pride in his work and is very proud of his business, as he should be.

I was absolutely thrilled to see Donairo’s open up again — and this time in a bigger location. They make best donair I have had on this side of the Atlantic by far. I really like that you can choose between or mix chicken, beef and/or lamb all for the same price; a can of soda is included too. They have falafel as well, but I have never felt to urge to try it since the donairs are so delicious.
I don’t live in Abbotsford by I try to stop in every chance I get — about once a week. The ambience could be better but the fresh baked pita more than makes up for any lack of decorative flare.

So happy they opened back up! This place bakes the bread fresh on the spot when you order. the donairs are the real deal!
