Mel’s Mutts in Motion specializes primarily in dog walking although pet sitting is also offered if overnight only, on a weekend or via visits to your home. My goal is to not only provide your pet with exercise, care and safety but socialization either on leash around your neighbourhood and nature trails or off-​leash at an enclosed dog park. As I do not walk more than 4 – 5 dogs at a time, am bonded and insured and am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR, you can rest easy that your dog will be in the best hands possible under my care. With competitive rates including discounts, reliability and flexibility, why go anywhere else? Basic obedience training is also provided for your new puppy at a slightly higher rate with reduction once your puppy is ready to join a pack.

Mel’s Mutts in Motion is a dog walking and pet sitting business created to help busy households ensure that their precious pet is well cared for and exercised. Bonded and insured, you can relax knowing that your dog is getting the best exercise and socialization that I can provide either on leash around your neighbourhood or off-​leash (at your request only) on forest trails or designated enclosed dog parks. Basic dog obedience training is also provided for your puppy at a slightly higher rate as well as pet sitting at your home. With competitive and flexible rates, why go anywhere else?

I am a single mother of 2 children who has had a passion and love for all animals since childhood. That passion led me to the University of Guelph where I graduated with a degree in Agriculture, majoring in Animal Science. Although life experiences and circumstances resulted in a 28 year career in IT instead, my love of animals and especially dogs has always remained which is why I have now started Mel’s Mutts in Motion so that I can help busy families by providing the best in exercise, health and socialization for their pets. Bonded, insured and certified by St. John’s Ambulance in both Pet First Aid and CPR, you can rest assured that your pet will receive the best care possible.
