Graduated from the pretegiuos Chicago based Illinois College of Optometry in 2009, Dr. Samina K. Khan has been practicing as an Optometrist all over North America. With her professionalism, from Chicago to Daytona Beach to Toronto, Dr. Khan managed to create a loyal patient base for her optometry services. During her career as an optometrist, Dr. Khan has worked with a vastly diverse patient population and some of the leading North American Optometry experts. Dr. Khan joins Sight N’ Steps with a passion to serve her childhood communities of Durham Region.

Absolutely awfull.
Service is terrible, front staff will ask you OHIP. without reasonable explanation. Refuse to give the card as they do charge from OHIP TOO. Dr Desai is freshly graduated does not know what is she talking about. This place is just show off plus ripoff.

I had to review this place since it needs to reexamine themselves. I asked my sister to go last year to this office to see the Optometrist there and get checked for an annual eye exam. It was new and modern and close to the house. What a mistake. The prescription was higher than the year before substantially and when I went back to get her rechecked I received nothing but attitude because I didn’t buy glasses there. The Optometrist refracted her again and I noticed she kept giving her more and more prescription. How do I know this? Because I have been working in eye field for awhile and understand the basics. Anyways I trusted the doctors opinion. A year has passed and we saw another doctor this year who studied in Canada and was actually really caring about her profession then dull, boring and uncaring like this place. She dilated my sister, took proper retinal photos and explained in detail her exam. Like a doctor should. Anyways turns out she was over corrected in her glasses and she has headaches from straining. Thank you. Learn to work a little harder and you actually will get business. Also the optician needs to cheer up.
