Tikka Boulevard™ is an Indian restaurant concept that serves fresh grilled kababs, popular Indian curries and wraps at reasonable prices in a contemporary, clean and friendly environment.

The word «Tikka» means boneless pieces of meat flavoured and grilled on skewers. Our tikkas (Kababs) are marinated for at least 24 hours before being «flame grilled to order» to give that irresistible succulent taste and texture.

Historique

Fondé en 2012.

The first Tikka BoulevardTM opened in January 2011 in Barrie, offering authentic Indian fare in a bright, clean environment with prices that compare to nearby fast food places. Complementing the eat-​in restaurant is take-​out and delivery services. Brainchild of Nikhil Baxi, director Anik Restaurants Inc., the concept offers authentic Indian tikkas and curries in a contemporary and informal atmosphere.“Our concept is a bit innovative without loosing the authenticity of the Indian cuisine. Food is freshly cooked to order in 8 – 10 minutes. It is positioned in a fast casual segment offering exciting Indian meal combinations at reasonable prices”.

The concept has been developed to ensure that it could be franchised and is easy to operate with minimum skill requirement.

The franchised store in Ajax belongs to Shailesh Patel. «I believe that this concept has a lot of potential to grow in Canadian market serving the needs of the today’s multicultural consumers» says Shailesh.
