Shady Orchard Dogs is a small home based business that specializes in dog boarding and is run by AJ Powell and her basset hound Charlotte. With 50 acres of fields and forests, including a fenced in Play Pen for off leash play your dogs will get all the fresh air and adventures they can handle! The bottom floor of the house is dedicated to their indoor comfort and bed time is always with their new home-​away-​from-​home family members so they never have to experience a moment of isolation.

Shady Orchard also provides doggy daycare, private dog walks and pet sitting services.

Adrienne is the owner/​operator of Shady Orchard dogs and has a long history of working with companion animals.

Experience is the key to responsible and qualified animal care and cannot be learned in a classroom setting alone. Through years of owning, fostering, pet sitting, employment at education oriented pet stores, boarding facilities, cat spas, leading large groups in dog walking, attending seminars on nutrition and behavior and first aid courses Adrienne has and continues to master the art of animal care.

She believes in open communication, shared knowledge and ideas and is always looking for shared ideas and information on how to better the lives of our pets!
