Historique

Fondé en 2011.

Owned and operated by a lifetime cottager, this 400 square foot store is filled with the spirit and joy of all things cottage.

Our merchandise will enhance, inspire and add instant charm. Fun, finishing touches and accent items — will easily fit in to any cottage theme.

From lanterns to loons, we carry a wide selection of unique hostess gifts, fun accessories, candles, baskets, tabletop linens and imported wool throws.

And… because we have a heart for our community, a percentage of all sales is donated to Zion Presbyterian Church In Torrance for local benevolence. Zion has been an active member of Torrance since 1916. The church serves the community with weekday programs for children and adults, counseling and outreach throughout the year.

Having a busy career in fashion in Toronto, my time in Muskoka is precious to me. After many summers of boating, bake sales and do-​it-​yourself decorating (not necessarily in that order) it was my desire to sink my teeth into something other than appetizers on the dock at 5 o’clock! Twig is one of the many joys of my life. I have the encouragement and support of wonderful family and friends — many of whom you will find behind the cash counter at the store!
