We recently visited Bowen Island, and visted this Sushi Café, run by a Korean couple. Not having really tried any Korean food, I decided on their Bibimbap, based on the brief description. It came with barbequed beef, raw carrots and cucumbers, over rice, and topped with a fried egg, then sprinkled with sesame oil. It was an okay meal, but I didn’t really care for the sesame oil, so would leave that out next time. The others ordered sushi, and some rolls. The consensus was that it was okay, but nothing special. If I wanted sushi to take out and enjoy on the boat, I would go back, but if I wanted to sit and enjoy a meal, I would pick somewhere else.
