I went to this place with my friend for lunch the other day. We were looking for something different and tasty. We chose a pitcher of MacIntosh sangria to share and were a bit disappointed with the presentation. It was basically just ice, even the waitress made a comment on the amount of ice in the pitcher. We each had an orange slice and a cherry and that was it for the fruit… For a cider based sangria, I would expect at least some apples. For an entrée I chose escargots, it was cool to see a different take on the original cheese topped ones. They were in a creamy sauce with some vegetables and brie cheese, very delish :) For my main dish I chose Crevettes poêlées & lait de coco, I basically chose this because it sounded interesting and I felt like eating shrimp. This dish was possibly the most bizarre thing I’ve ever ordered. It was this dish full of vegetables and shrimp with the coconut milk sauce desperately missing salt. If this dish were to be served on rice or even rice noodles it would be substantially better. My friend had the Suisse burger and she said it was good but missing seasoning as well. For dessert we shared the brownie and crème brûle, they were both quite good as well as cute in presentation. The décor of this place is really nice and the service was good, our meal had its ups and downs but this is still a nice place to go hang out with a group of friends especially in the evening in the summer out on their patio.
