Paint It Like New

Last summer I took two of my 45-​year-​old fiberglass Eames armchair shells here to get painted and I am extremely satisfied. The finish was perfect and durable.
Yes, it was a bit of a trek from Toronto but they do an excellent job, is reasonably priced and if you can drive to Burlington on off-​peak traffic you could get there in less than half an hour.
I had a quick and accurate quote easily done online which you can upload photos. I dealt with Janet and Janelle who are really nice, friendly and knowledgeable.
For $ 90 each chair they sanded down the surface, cleaned it with TSP and sprayed two coats of high quality Sherwin Williams enamel paint. You have a choice of various sheens and you simply give them the Sherwin Williams code of the colour you want, so you can’t get any simpler than that.
They also did an excellent job in masking the rubber puck mounts on the chair before painting and I was even given a small can of the same paint if I needed to do any touchups or repair work in the future.
Nothing is too big or too small for them. They have done a lot of chairs from wood to wicker to outdoor Adirondak chairs, and they also do kitchen cabinet door spraying, so it seems like they could paint almost anything.
