R C’s Boardwalk Fries & Ice Cream

I go here at least once every summer. Great selection of ice cream flavours. Customer service was good, nothing special. Never tried their hot food. The only complaints I have are that the ice cream is not as frozen as I’d prefer (but nothing to get upset about)
Biggest disappointment is the inconsistent serving portions. I usually go with the same friend and we both have noticed that one of us always ends up getting a significantly smaller scoop (every time)
Saying that, I still think its a great place to stop in for a treat. Very interesting theme and décor, for the little time you’ll spend inside.
One thing that is rare for downtown Burlington is fair pricing. You will find R C’s is good value

In a place where everybody is hustling and bustling and expect modern accommodations, this place was a nice old twist into things. A 40−60s diner themed ice cream parlor with working juke-​box. Plenty of memorabilia to take you back to the good old way of living with fire red tricycles, Radio Flyer wagon, and decades of old Coca-​Cola memorabilia.

Never eaten dinner here, but had lots of ice cream. Large portions and lots of great flavours. They have sorbet and yogurt too.
