Do NOT go to this place. They damaged the back of my phone when replacing the cracked screen — admitted they caused the damage and refused to fix and still charging for the front.

Unlocked Samsung Galaxy 3 here. Good price — $ 25 plus tax for next day, and $ 30 for same day. Friendly staff, but sometimes they forget you, so I’d recommend calling in advance before picking up your order.

Obviously a clutz like me would drop their phone again! I didn’t hesitate a I went back to Doco-​Tech. Funny enough, I think I went to the shop next door the first time.
The staff that was at Doco-​Tech were highly proficient at speaking English which is a plus because it’s a nicer experience without a language barrier. Also, fixing my screen only cost me $ 60! It was fast, easy and I think the did a better job than wherever I got it done last time!

Avoid these guys at all cost. I took my HTC one to them about three weeks ago to do a software repair. They fixed it for 80 CAD but my front mic stopped working (found out that night). I brought it back the next day and they said tough luck I had no proof that it was working before I gave it to them. They were extremely rude and defensive, especially Peter L. No refund of course since I am a dirty liar who tried to framed them.
Couple of days ago my phone stopped working completely. I took it back again and I was met with even worst attitude. This time Peter L suggested it is broken because there is indication of water damage from 6 months ago. Again, it has to be my fault even though they were the ones who opened my phone.
They agreed to do a diagnostic on it. Yesterday they sent me an email saying it is a hardware issue and they cannot fix it.
I went from a simple broken software to broken hardware (mic and memory). Sure, It might be a coincidence that everything broke in the last 3 weeks but somehow I feel Doco-​Tech has something to do with it.
Ultra-​high-​end price range for a 80 CAD broken phone and a taste of bad attitude in my mouth.

I’ve been having an issue with my nexus 5 mic. People can’t hear me when I make a call unless I am on speaker phone. I’ve taken it to a couple repair shops and they were unable to fix it. I was in the area and thought I’d give these guys a shot.
To start, the staff was super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. They opened up my phone and tested two separate replacement parts to see if it would work. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to fix it but they were able to diagnose that it was a bigger issue with my microphone. I mentioned to him that my phone was out of warranty but that I purchased it on my Visa and he informed me that visa usually has a 1 year extended warranty policy on phones.
He went above an beyond to help and I’m very grateful for having visited these guys. Had I not done so, I would have been going to purchase a new phone right now. Instead, I’ve contacted Visa and am getting everything setup for my insurance coverage.

Guy on phone bent over backwards to be as helpful as humanly possible. Handed phone to the Tech, instant rudeness. «Hey how’s it going?» I say. «Whats your question?» he says.

Got my iphone 5 screen replaced here about 3 months ago and now it’s completely stopped working and it doesn’t register any touch inputs. Brought it back and techs refuse any responsibility and blaming that the phone was dropped as evident from a tiny chip on the side of the screen, which was actually caused by keys.
Avoid this place, if anything goes defective, you’re out of luck and just pay the extra $ 30 to have it replaced at the apple store.
There’s a reason why the policy is only 30 days, the company doesn’t even stand by their own work. You get what you pay for with this place.

My iPhone 4S screen was cracked and after looking at reviews and pricing (groupon had 2 other coupons but it was probably going to be about about the same price/​a little more than Doco-​tech but the locations were farther than I wanted to trek to and from). So Doco-​tech was my #1 choice. $ 50 plus tax. I called ahead and spoke to a friendly guy who told me the price and the approximate time it would take to repair (about 1.5−2 hours). I also paid an extra $ 5 to have a new screen protector put on (i probably could have done without, but I was so happy that the screen looked great and no apparent other issues with the phone, I gave in).
I have no clue as to the difference in glass quality from the apple factory versus this place, but I am happy with the end result and would recommend this place to anyone who unfortunately cracks their iPhone screen. Make sure you call ahead to ensure they have the appropriate materials (apparently they are sometimes lower in white iPhone parts). And call ahead to find out when the tech comes in to work (don’t assume the tech person is there for all businesses hours).

These guys are fantastic. They unlocked my phone for $ 20, and directed me towards an amazing new plan at Mobilicity while I waited. Then, when Mobilicity’s SIM card didn’t quite fit, they gave me an adapter free of charge and waited with me to make sure everything worked. I couldn’t be more pleased.

This would be the best store I have ever been to. The guy, named Peter, fixed my Iphone 4 screen within 30 mins. At the same time, he also explained why sometimes it takes longer to fix a screen. The main problem was from Iphone 4 itself, which makes them have to try different screens. but I was lucky that my Iphone 4 wasn’t as faulty. He could get it done within 30 mins. This guy also told me how to save battery, and how to choose a case. in my case, i’m a construction worker. he recommended a heavy armor for my phone witch is really awesome. I have dropped my phone a few more times. but it seems it survived. Thank you Doco-​tech for your fast and great service.

I smashed my iPhone 4s to bits one week and tried to suffer through it miserably. I found this place via Unilocal and decided to give it a shot. I walked in apprehensively and asked if it could be saved and at what price. The guys at Doco-​Tech are incredibly professional, and straight forward. They were extremely efficient and in 30 minutes I had a phone that looked brand new! I couldn’t believe that I didn’t attempt to fix it sooner. The best part? They are VERY reasonable with their pricing. More than reasonable actually. They were even kind enough to throw in a free screen protector for me so that earned bonus points! Fantastic service, fantastic prices, fantastic guys working there. Highly recommended if you need help with your cell phones!

OMG these guys are awesome! I came in here with a smashed phone thinking that I will only get a price quote, and lo and behold they fixed it in 20 mins! (Won’t guarantee the same time frame for everyone). Cost be $ 70 for front and back screen which is by far the best price I’ve found. The techs are super nice as well!

Was charged $ 30 when they quoted my sis $ 15 on the phone for an unlocking service. Feel a bit ripped off, but maybe there was some miscommunication. Make sure you ask for a quote in person before getting any servicing done! I expected prices to be fixed so didn’t bother to confirm the price. Guess it IS a shady shop in Crystal Mall. Should have known better. :(On the positive side, they were really fast! And the screen protector was applied flawlessly. Unlock + screen protector for $ 35. I didn’t get a deal, but it’s not horribly expensive.
3 stars just because my expectations weren’t met. If I was mentally prepared for a $ 30 service I would have given more stars~

I bought an iphone case here before and it cost me just $ 10. The girl approached me and asked if I needed any help. I was looking for just a clear hard case that costs $ 10. They had one for $ 13 but she just gave it to me for 10.
Most recently, I went back to have my phone unlocked. I called the day before my visit to make sure they can unlock my samsung galaxy with the current OS it’s using and to inquire about the price. The person who answered the phone, Sean, spoke fluent english and answered all my questions. I think they also have people that are not only asians working there but it doesnt really matter I guess.
So when I went there, I left my phone to be unlocked for 15 minutes and also left my name and phone number as identity confirmation. I only had to pay $ 20 when the job was done.
The only down side is that since it was my first time for unlocking, I had to ask what I should do next. For example, do I pay now? Should I just come back later? How long will it take? Etc. I asked those questions one at a time, each time the girl walks away and comes back. I feel like they should just tell customers what’s happening and what we should do next instead of just walking away after getting the phone and info. I dont know, maybe its just me.
Overall, quick and good service. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs their phone unlocked. They have a good selection of phone cases too. As for repairs, I have not tried it so I cant say anything about it yet.

If you have an Android phone with the so called «Gorilla Glass» which is suppose to be extremely damage resistant and protects the Galaxy Samsung phone. well, it doesn’t. Mine shattered like I got into a drunken bar fight and used the screen to shield a punch from a biker dude. Anyway, that’s besides the point. The point is, I got it fixed and ready to go in one day!
My cell phone company wanted me to go to one of their stores, have them mail it back to the manufacturer, not provide a loaner phone and wait up to 2 weeks to get it back. By the way, they wanted to charge me pretty much the same amount Doco ended up charging me. The staff member, Ricky needed a little enthusiasm in his service, but he knew what he was talking about. No BS, pretty honest and quick turnaround time.
Note: Just keep in mind that when you change your screen here, it says T-​Mobile on the top instead of whatever brand you had before. This is a problem if you ever try to get your phone company to fix anything else in the future.
