I absolutely love this place! The owner is fabulous, and gets to know a lot of her clientele. She will work with you, and tell you what will help your tan develop best.
The beds are awesome, and there is a great selection, including a spray tan that looks natural (no worries about looking like an «Oompa Loompa» when you get out). I went from a relatively pale (sort of dry and ashy), to a glowing golden brown after the spray tan.
The prices are a little higher if you just pay drop in, so it is definitely worth it to buy a package. You pay for what you get, and here — you get a friendly & knowledgable staff, clean beds, and great selection.

Facilities are always very clean and the owner is nice and personable. There have been a few scheduling issues: they close the shop and post a sign on the door that says «back in 30 minutes» … but what time is that? But the excellent tanning beds make it worth the minor annoyance.

I have spray-​tanned in salons all over the world in various spas, booths and have been custom sprayed by experts and I can honestly say that the quality of the Versa Spa spray tanning booth at Solar Flare is one of the best in the world.
Eleni and her team custom match the colour that you want and make sure your tan is even, golden and beautiful. There is always service with a smile and no request is ever an issue.
The prices are amongst the best in the GVA and the quality is top notch.
I recommend Solar Flare to anyone wanting a flawless golden glow.

$ 28 drop in… a bit steep guys. Everything checks out, the place is nice, but you aren’t going to get much summer business with those rates.
I vote to bring the drop in rates down!

Solar Flare’s motto is «A Posh Tan,» and this is really true. The shop is small but the owner has managed to fit in four or five different styles of tanning, ranging from the traditional bed-​style to stand-​ups to a specialised high-​pressure high-​intensity tanner. The shop is always squeaky clean and the staff are friendly. Solar Flare uses a finger print to ensure that no one else but you can access your account, and they offer to hold on to your eyeware and tanning lotion for you between visits if you prefer.
Apart from traditional tanning, Solar Flare just installed a new «Versa» spray-​tan appliance for those who prefer a spray-​on tan. I haven’t used it, so I can’t speak to its quality, but I’ve seen girls who have used it and their tans look believable.
Solar Flare also sells tanning lotions and a collection of Ed Hardy and Christian Audigier swimwear and beachware. I purchased my tanning lotion there but nothing else. The tanning lotion is expensive, but it lasts a long time.
Solar Flare is also on Facebook and occasionally announce specials to the people who become fans of the page. As far as I am aware, the hours are Monday-​Friday 9:30am-9pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am-​6pm. The staff are willing to make appointments but you don’t really need one. Overall my experience at Solar Flare has been great and I’d recommend it to others.
