I live right above this place, so I come by all the time. I really enjoy the sushi served here, it’s rather authentic and made with care. The owners are always really sweet and courteous, although they do give you a slight chuckle if you ask for no avocado! The prices are really good, and their rolls are delicately made. The restaurant itself is usually quiet, as most take their orders to go. But the seating is quaint and homey. They usually have whatever sport playing on the television.

The owners are really sweet. When I came during winter, they relocated the heater fan next to my table :)

Food wise not every good. Sashimi still taste frozen or not thawed all the way through. Doesn’t taste fresh. The miso soup is really thick and salty. Rolls are filled with very little meat and too much rice. One of my favorite rolls are unagi rolls. At sushi garden they charge $ 3.95 pretty good and decent. At Tang Tang they charge $ 5.95 for unagi rolls. Sometimes very little eel and a lot of rice. Tempura is supposed to taste light fresh and crispy. Here its tough hard and chewy. Oh and one of the worst gomae salads I’ve ever had in my life! It didn’t seem to have a lot of sesame seed oil or peanut sauce. it was salty water downed and sour. I only eat here from time to time because it’s close to my work but there are so many better sushi restaurants. Food is mediocre and waaaaaaaaaay overpriced. The good? Really sweet owners.

I love this place. It’s quaint, quiet and out of the way. For hermits like me this is heaven. Most places are way too crowded, the furnishing here is Spartan other than their wall hangings and potted plants. The staff are polite and very accommodating. The food is fresh and tasty. I didn’t expect the quality to be so high considering how out of the way this place is. I strongly suggest trying this place out!

Not fresh. The people are nice but, the food was mediocre at best. I wouldn’t go again. There are other places in the area that are way better. In fact, I threw out some of it because it just tasted… well.unfresh.

I’m not sure if the positive reviewers below are affiliated with the restaurant, or if they have eaten in some other place, but this sushi place is about as bad as it gets. The only thing good on their food was the garnish — the sashimi came with creatively cut pieces of fruits on the side. Everything else was horrid — the California roll tasted like freezer-burned imitation crab-sticks mixed with mayo, the«gomaye» was just stale boiled spinach with some spices and sesame seeds sprinkled on it. The sashimi was alright, but not the best I’ve had. To sum it up — the place is conveniently located and alright if you need some cheap sushi in a pinch, but if you care about the taste of your sushi, you’re better off buying it at a 7 – 11.

I have to admit, I was intrigued and also somewhat leery of a sushi place called«Tang Tang.» I resolved to be brave enough one day to try it out to see if my fear was warranted or not. Today was that day. Colour me pleasantly surprised! Walking inside, the décor was minimal except for foliage. There are potted plants every so often and all along the window there are pots and vases, and all these plants are in good condition. The place is quiet, as I expected, but there were several people who came in for take out, so there is some steady traffic around dinner time. It has more of a small café feel than a sushi place, but obviously without the coffee. The sushi is pretty standard fare. I ordered a spicy salmon roll, a Philadelphia roll and a tempura roll, without the house sauce, to get a good variety(and heck, I was kind of hungry!). The rolls were well formed and there was no fear of the pieces falling apart. The salmon roll was a bit soft, but that is the case in most sushi places. I was quite impressed with the Philadelphia roll: the fish, avocado and salmon were in a good balance and the pieces fit nicely into my mouth. The three people on staff were all very friendly and in good mood, and engaged in small talk with their regulars and myself as well. This place is definitely worth another visit.
