Everyone gets a craving for Chinese from time-to-time. It’s just something that happens. So, naturally, when you get this craving you try to satisfy it to the best of your ability. Well, visiting friends in the large loop of Hidden Valley doesn’t provide much choice for delivery of Chinese food, except Chopsticks. In desperate need of something Chinese, we decided to order some stuff from this place. The menu was as expected, as were the prices, and we were able to get something for everyone; fried rice, ginger beef, mixed veggies, lemon chicken, some sort of dumpling soup, and spring rolls. Pretty hard to mess that up, right? Wrong. The food was almost unrecognizable as the dishes we ordered and tasted rather bland. After eating most of the food, I had the usual MSG symptoms; headache and tummy gurgles. I’m not 100% sure that they use MSG, but my body certainly felt it afterward. I’ll give it to them that the food arrived pretty quickly, even if it’s not a very far ways to go. That could be because everyone else already learned their lesson to choose elsewhere first. Our mistake. We won’t make the same one twice.
