Cobb’s Corn Maze and Family Fun Park

Very disappointing!!! The place itself is ok except that the corn maze is 3 feet tall. $ 50 for a family of 4 to get in and then once you are in you have to pay extra to do anything decent. Big time rip off!!! Hopefully the owner catches on that his pricing is out to lunch before he goes out of business. Calgary needs places like this to take kids

I love this place. Will definitely be going a few times this season. I am surprised by something new every time I go. At first I thought it was just for kids but there are so many activities for other ages too — eurobungy, popcorn popper, archery tag, giant hamster balls, mazes and puzzles. My favourite is the eurobungy. The staff is so helpful coaching through flips and higher jumps. I can now do a back flip; will master the front flip one day.
Also, this is the best fudge I have ever had– I have probably sampled 20 flavours so far.

This place has gotten so great! Last year was their first ever season and you could tell they were trying to figure out how it needed to be run, but this year they know what they are doing! They added an awesome giant slide that I went down over and over racing my husband, and this great «gemstone mining» activity where you pan through dirt to find gems and things. So cool.
They also have some amazing fudge in all sorts of crazy flavours. Maple bacon and peanut butter and jelly were the best!
I tell everyone to go check it out! Even if Calgary weather makes it hard to get corn growing tall in time for opening, there is so much else to do you won’t even care!

Went there the summer of 2014 and it was great.
The staff are great. The three little pigs, actual pigs, are so cute. Their is tons of stuff to do; Archery Tag, bungee jumping, face painting, large people size hamster balls, crafts and of coarse the Corn Maize.
Great place for the whole family from young to old. I can’t wait to go back when they open up again.

The price is steep for what you get, and the amenities are sub-​par. The corn maze is a joke unless you’re under 3ft tall. The bouncy castles and the trampoline back-​flip areas were kinda fun but certainly not enough to justify the price of admission. And the other activities seemed to fall flat too.
My mother got tickets through a Groupon deal which made the price seem a bit more acceptable but still steep. Overall my son (age 5 at the time) had fun but we will not be returning next year. Overall I’d say it was a one time experience and that I was surprised at how many people I saw paying full price. I’d advise on finding a real corn maze if that’s something you think you’d like.

I don’t even want to give this place 1 star! It’s just a big gravel and dirt pit really. The maze is a joke of weeds and very short corn stalks. Price is steep for what u got! Everything else seems to cost extra. Seriously don’t waste your time and money.

Not a great a experience.
On the website is advertises that the maze is open an hour after close to allow time for people to make their way through the maze. When I got there it turns out this is not true and I was informed that I had half an hour to make my way through the maze. I asked the till person for an approximate time it takes to get through the maze. For the life of me I couldn’t get them to give me a straight answer.
The till person went on to explain all the cool activities that were in the maze. After reading another review on Unilocal I found the activities cost extra. They made no mention of it while they were prattling on about them for 5 min.
The till person obviously did not want my business. Which is shame because I was so excited to go. Their complete lack of not wanting to be helpful has ensured that I will not be trying to go back a different day.

Where should I start how horrible this place is…
1. It is not very affordable as you have to pay extra for half the attractions/​activities
2. Nothing is labeled so you don’t know what you have to pay for and what is included
3. It is only open 2 days a week and with that being said can be busy but when you line up for something that isn’t labeled if it is included or not it is a waste of time if you don’t have extra tickets purchased
4. Bought the farm isn’t truly everything as it only includes admission and 4 activities
5. food is really expensive and not very good as it is clearly frozen, greasy and bland
6. many of the activities are closed but there is no sign, just people yelling at you and don’t tell you that it’s closed and you find out from another parent it might be broken?
7. the corn maze is a joke, it goes to your waist and the paths are not cleared
8. the playground is not safe: the green slide looks and sounds like it’s going to fall apart when going down, the yellow slide is too steep and my daughter actually cut herself on it and fell hard when landing as it clearly too steep to go straight down
9. if you leave the bouncy houses area just to go to the bathroom or buy a drink you have to pay to get in again
10. if you go on an extra paid activity and there is a line up, they kick you off almost immediately after getting on so other people in line can go
11. many of the staff aren’t friendly at all and have no clue as to what is there and what is included with the admission and what you have to pay extra for
12. the bouncy houses aren’t even safe as they are half blown up and it is so windy there that many of the activities are blowing up in the air and some away as they aren’t staked down properly or some even at all
This is all I can think of now as I am trying to get this horrible day out of my memory. The fact that the «workers» don’t tell you if you have to pay or not for the activity until your child gets in then tells you how many tickets it costs extra (which there should be clear visible signs for each activity), kick you off almost as soon as you get on if there is a line up, workers yelling at you to get off something that is closed but there is no signs to tell you this and ignore you when you ask them «Is it closed???», you can’t even go to the bathroom from the bouncy house area without having to pay again to get back in or the fact that I am not going to leave my 2,3, 4 year olds by themselves to go buy a drink then pay again to get back in is ridiculous. This entire place is extremely hazardous and shouldn’t even be opened as it is clearly not safe anywhere you go. The fact they charge extra for majority of the items is also ridiculous. If your going to have a pass that is called «Bought the farm» it should truly be what it is called and not go on 4 activities where we kick you off after 5 seconds then go pay more money so we can do it all over again is not my idea of fun where my kids get hurt and I pay a ridiculous amount of money for not much in return.
*****Update****** I went back here a year later because my kids wanted to go again. I thought with all the problems they had before it would be an improvement which it kind of was. They now have signs that state if the activity is extra money now which is good. The staff however is young and careless. They aren’t paying attention and busy chatting with each other or texting. One blond girl is always working the bungee trampoline and she is going to have so many law suits against her if someone sues her. She is never paying attention and I don’t know how many kids have landed on their heads from trying to do flips and gone off the trampoline because she is in lala land. When she finally notices, she just calmly and slowly puts more tension on the bungee cord. For the tractor ride, an African American boy was driving it. He didn’t even say anything and just drove off. This resulted in a young boy who stood up (yes this is the fault of the parenting as they were clearly not paying attention) fell off the cart and ended up getting run over. The driver of the tractor just shook his head in like it was the kids/​parents fault which it is as it should be obvious not to stand up and watch your kids, but he should of said something prior to the tractor ride. The parent of another child in the same cart, she then on the way back from the ride was standing up herself leaning over trying to grab the corn. This you can see clearly they have no common sense and in a way, they kind of get what they deserve if your going to do something like this that is obvious and if you don’t watch your kids this is what can happen. I have ridden this tractor ride before and other drivers have said before leaving the rules of not standing or touching the corn and at the top of the hill they stop and you can get out if you want to. This African American boy did none of this and it is all the staff they hire with no training and they are young.
