Stumbled across a new section at the Calgary Crossroads Market this past weekend. Apparently this area is 6 weeks new & has a lovely array of venders. Espresso Pi Café offers all the basic espresso drinks including a few unusual items you do not normally see on menus including Espresso Freddo, Babyccino, and Caffee Breve. They use Big Mountain Organic Coffee.
I couldn’t find much about this café online and I didn’t find the girls/​baristas overly eager to tell us about the café (in fact they forgot to make my cappuccino). But the cappuccino was good when I got it and hubs enjoyed his coffee as well. Hopefully these growing pains will work themselves out in time.
The next time we stop in I’m looking forward to trying some of these new (to me) coffee offerings. Perhaps a Coffee Loyalty Program might be something this café considers :)
