Lucid Kustoms

Stopped by today to have the 10k service done on my Triumph Thruxton. I had won a full service voucher at a bike night they held earlier in the year.
Showed up at 9am and they were ready to go and take in my bike.
Shop is very cool and has a hip friendly vibe. They also have a «Lucid Koffee» shop and serve coffee and sandwiches. Glad for the coffee as I had a couple hours to kill as they showed my bike the love it deserved. Had a regular drip coffee, which was excellent as far as a drip coffee goes. They do have an espresso machine so lattes, caps, and the flavoured coffees are available as well. Didn’t eat today but I have had their sandwiches in the past. The sandwiches are panini style and made fresh and grilled while you wait. I’d recommend the «stacked», a turkey and bacon club style. And the sammies come with a free bag of chips! They also have pop shop to wash it all down.
They also carry riding gear and parts for your bike in case you want to do some customizing while you are there. Loser Machine, Lowbrow, Biltwell, Roland Sands, Bell /​Simpson helmets, and a bunch more goodies.
Fred did the service on the bike and totally impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness. We talked a bit about the best oil to run, new tires and a suspension upgrade for next year. Bike rides like a dream now.
Very cool place and would highly recommend. Lots of custom choppers, cafes, and bobbers sitting around the shop as they do custom bike builds as well.
If you are into the Kustom Kulture scene this should be your first stop, or if you are looking for great service and friendly people this is a great place!

I’m only reviewing their coffee shop facing Edmonton Trail. Lucid Kustom’s main business is their motorcycle shop a block away. But since I know nothing about motorcycles, I have no authority to write about it. Its a great idea to have a storefront on a major road, as it brings attention to what they really do.
Even though coffee and sandwiches are not their main focus, the java is actually pretty good. Being in an industrial park, you’re not going to get a line up of quadruple-​frapp-​no-​whip-​half-​sugar-​latte orders like you would at the more popular places. And they make a variety of drinks, if normal drip coffee is not your jam.
I can’t speak about the food. Looking into their fridge, the sandwiches don’t look out of the ordinary. But I can’t judge a book by its cover right.
The shop is a nice big open space, with a big couch and some bike gear decorated in the room. It would actually be a great place to hang out. But being an industrial park, its not an easy place to stumble upon. And since I work close by, I am probably not going to linger around, as I would just grab my coffee and head back to my dark, lonely corner of my cubicle.

Although I had one bad experience at Lucid, Owner Kevin. C was very prompt to correct my experience, he was more unsatisfied to hear that I was unsatisfied about my experience and offered a very nice gesture
He embraced my review and took it to heart, I’m sure lucid will serve you just fine, I am impressed with the response.
I will try lucid again someday

Well, well, well, who do we have here. An awesome little custom motorcycle and service shop without the assholery? How excellent for me.
Given it’s the beginning of the riding season, it’s time to dust off the ol’ hog (it’s not a
hog) and get her tuned up. Having moved from the far SE, I needed a new shop to get my bike serviced at. I used to go to Redline and they were pretty good, but too far now to get to. I drove past Lucid recently and saw «Koffee» on their sign and knew I had to book in. They offer a full service deal for $ 199. This comes with a long laundry list of checks and balances, oil and filter change, chain clean and grease, tire pressure, you name it! You can upgrade your oil to semi synergic for $ 29.99 or premium oil for $ 59.99. I love this place, right from my first phone call with Kurtis to my service today with Kyle, it was an awesome experience. No up sells, just respective kind great service. Unlike those arseholes at well I won’t say. Ok, it’s Blackfoot Motosports. Anyone who reads my motorbike shop reviews knows I god damn hate that effing place.
So inside LK is a very rad, cool welcoming shop with a coffee shop inside. They have custom (kustom) drinks, cookies, snacks. They sell patches and custom tanks, lots of cool parts and accessories. Their custom bikes are shown in front and in the parking lot and they’re so fucking cool. Usually when you see custom bikes they’re bobbers but I saw a lot of café racers too! My mind began racing but then I remembered I don’t want to sleep on the couch this summer. Thank you Lucid for being awesome and helping keep little Sally Street III in tip top shape! We’ll be back soon with our Bouly and for some delicious Koffee. Keep up the good work and stay awesome. I’m sending everyone your way!
