In the boonies of north east Calgary, also know as Skyview Ranch, this is the closest thing you’ll find to a grocery store at the moment. Its also the only gas station and the next best thing to fast food within a few kilometers.
Because there are only a few hundred houses in this area at the moment, the store is never extremely busy. I’ve popped in a few times when working in the area to grab a drink or a lottery ticket and I’ve never had to wait in line.
Notable thing here is that they seem to have more Froster flavours than your average Mac’s.

My three kids like to fill up the ice cream cones and stick the cone on top because it melts really fast. When I get to the till the guy charges my for 6 ice cream cones. Why I asked him why, he said «cup cone». I told him this wasnt the first time I have bought the cones and he just shrugged his shoulders. Returned everything else I was buying and will never step foot in there again!

It’s like Mac’s from the future. This is one of their newer stores, and it seems to have every shiny new convenience store thing ever made. It’s huge, well stocked, ridiculously clean, and easily the classiest corner store I’ve ever been to.
Also, there’s an attached ESSO gas station, which sells the full range of gas, plus diesel. Lots of pumps, and again, very shiny and new.
