One Cycle Spin Studio

I tried Onecycle for the first time last night with a girlfriend and let me say we had our butts kicked (in a good way)… we had so much fun! From the disco ball to the candles to our amazing and energetic instructor Melissa, we left sweaty and satisfied! Also all the staff was so friendly and helpful, helping us set up our bikes and how to work our clip in shoes (Basic ‘newbie’ problems) Thanks Onecycle for an amazing workout!!!

One cycle’s studio is beautifully designed, their music and lighting are awesome, but the quality of classes are way below what I would expect from a studio.
1. Instructors do not ensure that participants are set up properly on their bikes, even newbies (or that was my experience the couple of times that I went there). A good way to ruin your knees is to go hard a few times a week with your bike set up incorrectly.
2. Doing push ups and crunches and swaying side to side while on the bikes might seem like a full body workout, but its hard to do with proper form and puts everyone at risk for injuring themselves. Plus the instructors have the room very very dark so they are unable to offer feedback on the participants’ form during class
3. The classes are usually packed and poorly ventilated. It might feel like a better workout because you are soaked with sweat, but being overheated doesn’t = better fitness. It just means you sweated more.
I wanted to love One cycle and their beautiful, stylish studio but I think I’ll stick to studios that focus on the quality of their classes.

Super fun way to work out. The work out is intense, but paired with positive up-​beat instructors and bumpin’ music, how can you not have a great time! Class incorporates some core work and arm work. Recommend for people who want a serious workout in a not so serious setting!

Excellent and fun place to go workout. They are welcoming of people of ALL fitness levels, not just exercise junkies. I rarely worked out before coming here and now I try to go 2 – 3 times a week. I really recommend it to everyone — One Cycle and one instructor in particular has changed my life for the better.
The facility is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Also their website is very handy. I have to take off one star for the price. There is no monthly or yearly membership option, and the classes are very expensive.

After walking by the One Cycle Spin Studio for a few years, I finally signed up and attended a class. This was a game-​changing experience for me. I am an avid cyclist and I have been to a handful of different spin classes around the city, but this was totally different.
From the moment you walk into the building, this is a different story. The clean, whitewashed walls and the booming stereo makes it feel like you are entering a nightclub instead of a gym class.
It gets even more clubby once you enter the spin studio. There is a top-​end sound system, dim lighting and a disco ball… yes, A DISCO BALL! The class I attended was, for lack of better words, CRAAAAZY! The music is thumping, the instructor is dancing and singing and the studio is packed full of enthusiastic cyclers who are just as excited as the instructor.
The session includes the classic ‘sitting’ and ‘standing’ versions of cycling, but this one includes variables of a cycling pushup, tricep lifts, bicep curls and chest press, all while cycling your brains out!
The 60 minute class went by extremely fast and before I knew it, we were stretching and enjoying a cool towel.
If you are looking for something new to add to your workout routine, look no further… One Cycle is the solution!

I cannot say enough great things about One Cycle! I am a very active person and I can say without any reservation that this is one of the hardest workouts I have ever tried. By the end of the 50 minute class you will have worked out legs, core, arms and shoulder and you WILL feel it. I absolutely LOVE the music there, I enjoy Joanna Magik’s classes the best because of the electro beats she chooses but generally most instructors will choose tracks that will get you super pumped. The frontend staff is super friendly and they truly listen when you have any feedback regarding the facilities, website, etc. Oh and at the end of each class you will have a fresh lemon grass scented towel waiting for you! That is a refreshing, very original touch that will make you look forward to completing your workout.

My very first spin class and I couldn’t have imagined it going better. The front desk girl was really welcoming and friendly, and the instructor was really helpful and got my bike adjusted and helped me clip in.
The class was great — fun music, disco ball, and it was definitely an excellent workout! I love that they dim the lights during parts where you really push yourself so you can just focus on your workout. And the instructor was totally motivating.
The locker room was spacious, and the shower was gorgeous and really clean. I will definitely be going back soon!

Great place for quick, energy blasting spin class! This is the first class I’ve been to, so my rating may be a bit skewed. Great instructors, great classes, and lots of fun. A great way to keep fit and full of energy.

Amazing studio, no pretentiousness that you sometimes see with these places. Instructors are incredibly friendly and you’ll definitely find at least one that suits your style (personally I’ve found all to be great in their own way). The pumpin’ music makes it easy to focus on the task at hand and forget about work and any other stresses you may have going on (would personally like to see more ‘90s hits but that’s just me).
Locker room is comfortable, only 2 showers but it seems everyone goes home to clean up as they live nearby so you pretty much get the place to yourself. Really can’t say enough good things about this place. If you enjoy a good workout and good people you need to check it out.
Also looking forward to more morning classes being added, great way to start the day!
