Historique

Fondé en 1956.

Grand Parents, Parents and Children have been coming here Ever since 1956. That was the year that my Grand parents, George and Sybil Pepperdine decided to extend the already successful PMS Camera Shop to include hobby and craft items (PMS stood for Photo/Movie Supplies). It was Located in Calgary’s first shopping mall, the North Hill shopping Center, in it’s scant 1700 square feet. PMS Hobbycraft was quietly preparing for a very exciting future.

Many things have changed in the years since then, and like any healthy family we continue to grow. At the turn of the new millennium a name change was in order from the old PMS Hobby Craft to the more «politically correct» PM Hobbycraft. A decision not easily made considering the fact that the name had been with us for nearly half a century. Ownership has also changed and my wife, Debbie, and I are proud to say that a Pepperdine will continue at the helm for a long time to come.

Rencontrer le Gérant de commerce

Doug P.

Gérant de commerce

Doug has been involved in PM Hobbycraft ever since he was old enough to know how to read the instructions for the plastic models he built while being at work with his Mom and Dad when the store was back in the North Hill shopping center. As he grew, his skills progressed and he grew his knowledge on the varous products throughout the store and was finally put on the payroll when he turned twelve years old. Since that time he’s experienced the inception and development of radio controlled models in addition to a plethora of products that PM Hobbycraft now gives home to.

As the President and an Owner, Doug continues to form and explore new business avenues within the hobby industry and continues to seek new and exciting product lines for his clients.

Most importantly, Doug is always approachable and enthusiastic about meeting those who are most important to him. His valued Customers.
