Road Runner Mobile Tire Service Ltd

I called this guy who identified himself as Shaun — the owner (which seems to be a one man unit) to come to my place… he came out in a timely fashion, which was the only good thing. The problem with my tires was that they had a small screw in each of the back tires causing them to go flat over time, eventually I got annoyed with filling them up each month, and made the call to ‘Roadrunner’. Now, I was initially quoted between $ 5 – 40 for the repair by ‘Fountain Tire’, however this guy at Roadrunner charged me $ 40+ a tire, on the high side to be sure; he did totally scam me, in more ways than one. First on the price point of course, then nextly on the service. After he came the first time, allegedly repairing my tires in a record 15 mins (I did not actually witness Shaun perform any work) the tires went flat aprrox 2 weeks later after the repair, as they had always done in the past. What he obviously did was just fill the tires up with air, and nothing else. I called him again a couple weeks after the repair to advise him (although he did not come back again for some time) when he came to my house the second time I confronted this weasel of a guy asking him ‘what are the odds of that’? He did not have much of an answer, save ‘stop driving over screws’ I was infuriated as I had parked the car for the summer after the repair, and went on vacation, so obviously I didn’t drive over any screws. Initially, I was told that by Shaun if I had any problem with the repair he would take care of it, he did not honor this, and charged me another $ 84 in change. Ultimately I was out aprrox $ 168 dollars for two plugs to this scam artist. I will likely be forwarding the complaint to the better business bureau. Stay clear of this rip off artist Shaun H. which is ‘Road Runner Mobile Tire Service’.

Professional knowledgeable and very quick. Tire side wall blew and was able to replace for much better price than Tire Shops and C Tire. Contact Shaun if you need Tires.

This guy is amazing. Always available when we need him and provides an incredible service for an extremely reasonable price. Everyone should have Road Runner in their phone contacts.

Writing this review on behalf of my dad.
He had contacted an ad on Kijiji about tires for sale for his Ford Ranger… without knowing it was Road Runner Mobile Tire Service.
Anyways, Road Runner was able to meet at my dad’s workplace to what my dad thought was only a drop off but Road Runner changed the tires for him and took his old tires away for him… at no extra charge.
Very impressive! He said he defiantly recommends Road Runner. 5 stars!

Awesome! We emailed every mobile tire service we could find a listing for. Some of the replies were really incredible including one guy who, after having provided the tire size asked us what the tire size was. Another didn’t seem to think he could help us unless we provided more information than just 255/​55R17… he wanted to know about the load bearing… of a Chrysler 300M.
At any rate– the reply we got from Road Runner was exactly what we needed to know. No games. No oversell and the prices were great! He even had the tires we needed in stock. Head and shoulders above and beyond anyone else who replied to our request for a quote. The guy gave us several options and told us what we needed to know about each one. Very straight forward and to the point.
When we called to make arrangements, he was able to come right away and he did. From the time we called until he was at our door was less than an hour.
The work he did was really good. The rims were not in great shape and this guy took the time to clean them and deal with the mess they were in. We were so impressed, we insisted on paying him a little extra for all of the great work he did. Totally went above and beyond. Would absolutely recommend.
