Teremok marks my favourite find of the week.
Only 2 months old, Teremok is a Russian food store that carries everything from biscuits and chocolate to seafood and bread. Obviously, everything is authentically Russian and all the products are labeled in Russian. Don’t worry though; The owners are some of the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever met. After having escorted me through each aisle while thoroughly explaining what everything was, I ended up leaving with some Almond biscuits (I can’t remember what they are called for the life of me) and some tea rusks.
Teremok is the first Russian store I have ever stepped foot into. I am SO proud of Calgary for having such an ethnic food store in our city.
We just keep getting better don’t we? ;)
