The Barking Lot

Never had my animals groomed here, but I’m commenting on their service.
Every time I go in I am greeted right away and politely helped, never pushy. They offer a few foods that are hard to come by like first mate.
I would have given 5 stars, but my last visit was in the summer, it was boiling out, maybe 30 degrees and when I pulled up there was a skid full of wet and dry dog foods. Right in front of the door.
Io assumed they just got a shipment, though of being it was 7pm.
When I went inside there was a man sitting at the cash desk, doing nothing and for the whole 20 minutes I was there not a single person was attempting to bring the food in.
God knows how long it sat out there and comprised the integrity of the pet food. I will never go back knowing this neglect.

They had a great selection and the service was awesome. They answered all my questions and gave me tones of info. The grooming service just next door was AMAZING! Did a great job on my dog and cat!

I had the pleasure to spend time with Ola and her mom at the Barking Lot store yesterday. This location located right across from its grooming service is a really great place to get high quality pet supplies.
The place has high ceilings, lots of light, great colour and has a delightful animal mural gracing its upper walls. Suzanne the owner was extremely friendly and personable and Ola her Pug was not camera shy in modeling some of the stores fashionista apparel, in my photos you will see Ola sporting a tartan cap, she posed for several minutes for me then continued to attack my face and camera lens with her tongue.
The store carries the cutest pet jackets and sweaters, beds, bowls and dishes; they even carry hats and ties!!! Really they have a couple of rows to totally pimp up your little best friend with fashion bling and best of all it is quite affordable.
There are so many reasons to come here, first of all the wonderful colourful and chewable toys that you see when you come in. The natural and organic pet food. There is even a raw food line that is frozen so that you can take home and it is fresh. They even have a special line of pet food that has been processed in the «Slow Bake» manner. So much of the selection looks good enough to eat, plus I found the store so well organised and so nice to look at.
Suzanne prides herself in only choosing the best products for your little critters and it reflects in her store. The Barking Lot Pet Store offers a lot to bark about.
