The Better Butcher has been Southeast Calgary’s premier source for the finest quality beef, lamb, pork, and poultry since 1995.

The Better Butcher custom cuts meats, whether you’re looking for the perfect entrée for a special dinner, or just want to serve your family the best quality meats available. Owner Randy has been practicing the art of meat cutting since 1990 and will be happy to provide you with the custom cuts you’ve been craving.

We have a full service deli, prepared and frozen entrees, and we can ensure all of our meats are gluten free with no preservatives. We offer over 40 different kinds of sausages homemade, AAA grade beef, chicken, and pork, as well as seafood and lamb. Our deli is stocked with an array of delicious luncheon meats, cheeses and side dishes, as well as deli trays that are sure to tempt any appetite!

The Better Butcher has been serving SE Calgary since 1995. After working for a butcher for many years, the owner decided it was time to open up his own place. With over two decades in business, we look forward to many more!
