Mahogany Salon and Spa is a full service salon and spa offering an extensive list of services that includes everything from manicures, semi-​permanent eyelash extensions, advanced skin care treatments and massages to hair styling and body treatments. We cater to both men and women including groups and brides.

Historique

Fondé en 2010.

Mahogany Salon and Spa is owned and operated by Catherine & Krystin Wood. The mother daughter team opened their first salon and spa in 2004 in Stittsville. Since then, what began as a small 3000 square foot, 7 employee family operation has grown to include a second site in Carleton Place, 10,000+ square feet and combined total of 90 staff.

We watched this building go up from a hole in the ground, and I have to say: what a spectacular, inviting building! Now I have had an awesome experience at this spa: a pedicure with hot wax, and I was very impressed — the massaging chair was like getting an extra back massage while the feet were getting done! I came away feeling very refreshed and relaxed; this was just what I needed!
It’s a rather large building with many different rooms. I did not see it all, but what I did see was nice and clean, and nicely laid out. It the waiting room waiting for the nail polish to dry, there was a beautiful large, vibrant fish tank. The whole atmosphere was relaxing. There were current magazines available, so you could catch up on current affairs while you are waiting.
Midway through my pedicure, one of the receptionists came around offering cookies. That was a nice touch.
This is not a cheap spa treatment, but definitely good place to go get pampered in preparation for a wedding, or other special event. Or, just because!
This place will continue to be on my wish list as a recommendation for gift certificates. :-)
