Fondé en 1981.

Canadian Orthotics Laboratory was estalished in the late 70’s by founder and president Dr. Samuel Ber D.P.M. We are proud that COL has accomplished its ultimate goal of providing quality orthotics, in a faster turnaround time at very competitive prices.

In the late 70’s, Dr. Ber as a practicing podiatrist, found orthotics in the market place declining in either production, service, and or quality. The same issues plague practitioners today. As Dr. Ber began working with different biomechanical

specialists in North America, new improvements in design and manufacturing began to form. The aim was to provide the best, most advanced and cost-​effective orthotics for all patient’s biomechanical abnormalities. What began as a search for

quality, timely and cost effective orthotics manufacturer, ended up leading to the creation of COL International in1981.
