Historique

Fondé en 1955.

Joseph’s Coiffures Salons are well recognized Salons, fashion leaders and an entrepreneurial success story. In 1955, Joseph started his own salon on Bloor and Royal York in Toronto under the name, «Joseph’s Hair Stylists». The Joseph’s Hair stylist did exceptionally well! However, Joseph was still thinking about a business name with more prestige and subsequently established «Joseph’s Coiffures»

Joseph’s Coiffures salons entered into the hair & beauty industry with his creative flair and natural business sense. Soon, a number of stores were established with the same concept and became the first franchise in the hair salon industry. Joseph took the opportunity to be on the cutting edge of the new day salon & beauty movement and a rapid expansion took place. Meanwhile, Joseph stepped out from behind the salon chair to put all of his efforts forward to develop his salon business.
