Bbong

Food was pretty good, and really cheap too! I split in a combo C with 3 other friends, and our bill came out to just $ 10/​person.

Service was fast. Food was alright. I was here with my parents on sunday and ordered combo B which includes black bean noodle, Kkan poong gi (deep fried chicken) and spicy noodle for $ 27.99. Portion was alright and it was big enough for 3 of us. I enjoyed the food, but noodle itself was okay. I can have better noodle elsewhere.
I’d have to give 3.5 stars. I really liked deep fried chicken though. My personal preference would be Manri Jangsung in Surrey they make good spinach noodles with bigger portion.

Bbong is a new restaurant close to H-​Mart in the Korean Plaza. Bbong is a abbreviation for Jam-​bbong, a spicy korean soup.
I came here several times and told my friends about their tasty soup. What bbong does different is, they always stir fry their vegetables before putting it into the soup. That gives the soup the bbq flavour. Today, there was no stir fried vegetables.
Instead I found a juicy Cockroach in my soup. I was almost finished with my soup and seeing the surprise mafe me sick to my stomach. I told and showed our waitress my soup. She quickly said she was sorry and walked off with it. Yet she charged me for my meal and that seemed to be the end of story. I almost threw up for i had consumed an entire soup with a oversize Cockroach!
Never going back again. I told all my friends and family and now I am telling the whole world. For a newly opened restaurant they should try to be a little cleaner.. Yuck.

This is a new korean place that has opened by the big H-​mart. Came here with my friends after a hard night (). They were really busy but luckily we were seated right away.
We got the family combo A which consists of black bean noodles, spicy seafood noodles, and this deep fried pork dish. There was a lot of waiting time in between each dish, but the food was pretty ok.
The service was really not that good. I don’t expect amazing service especially at my Korean restaurants but how hard is it to get us more water in less than 20 minutes?
Not sure if I would come again. There are plenty of other similar places with better service.
