Worst Cibc branch, only 1 teller, half an hour wait till it’s you’re turn, there’s a line up and only one teller, service is terrible here, better to just drive down to another location

i work in the strip mall so its very convenient for me to come to this location.
the tellers know my name, and they are all pretty friendly.
Down side, its small closed on Mondays and only 2 tellers if you’re lucky (sometimes only 1). With my luck I get stuck waiting in line for 10 – 15 min.
has a drive thru ATM machine (Ive never used).

We tried to go through the drive through and I have to say the machines were in great order but I swear that the people in front of us were having a lot of trouble getting them to work properly.. I like that they had a 2 bay drive through. makes it super quick to get through.

I have been a happy CIBC customer since 1997. I’m not so happy anymore.
For some reason I am an Imperial Service client. This used to mean I had help in all manner of ways. It now means… well I am not sure what it means. It seems to mean, don’t bother me.
My unhappiness was caused by one financial adviser at this branch, and by her regional supervisor who do not listen or care. It’s like all they see is a file with $$$ in it, and wish there was no real person behind the file… Boy would that be nice…
The funny thing is that I did not even wish to have my accounts at this branch. (I live in Yaletown for goodness gracious!!) My accounts were brought here by the adviser as she transferred some accounts of family members who live at Westwood Plateau. When I questioned her about this she said it was a mistake but she promised me stellar, cosmic — amazing service! Thinking about it she did not lie though… I did get stellar, cosmic– amazingLY BAD service!
Since I am a lazy boy at times, I left things alone… that is until things became unbearable.
I have now had my funds returned to their original place. A much better place.
If you have some funds that you would like to save, invest or place for safe keeping. I may offer that your matress may be a more friendly place, and the local credit union would definitely be a more friendly place.
CIBC, at Westwood Plateau, it was not really nice knowing you.
