Very cozy. Perfect for a rainy day chat with a friend. Delicious mocha. Not too sweet. Loved my matcha bun. The vanilla bean custard bun was also tasty. Will be back.

My new favourite spot. I almost wish that less people would know about it. This is a quint korean café that is perfect for a date or girls get together while you share a patbingsu during the summer or ice coffee/ice tea. The décor is pretty and the tables are perfect for studying.

We came here for snacks ordering two red bean coffee buns and a cup of green tea latte and a cup of multigrain lattes in the afternoon. Great drinks and food! We couldn’t find any coffee buns other than this shop in Coquitlam and the one in North Vancouver. Great interior design inside, great for students to study or work in this café and great for friends to get together, drink and eat and relax. The only downside of this café is the ventilation. When we were there, there was stuffy air inside. They should open one of the doors and let some fresh air get into the café.

Surprisingly good café. Only negative was that the air was a bit stuffy inside. They need to turn up the ventilation or open the doors to let in some air. But the latte’s we had were delicious and so were the red been coffee buns. Lots of students studying there in the afternoon.

We were a little disappointed when we were told that they don’t serve all of the bun flavors which they advertise on their menu and only carry coffee and plain ones, but this place still offers the treat of green tea and red bean lattes which are wonderful on frigid, wet days here in Coquitlam.

Cute café in heart of Coquitlam. I booked marked this place because of its good reviews. Coquitlam lacks good local cafes /coffee hangouts. When I walked in pretty impressed. Cute modern café. Was fairly busy for a late rainy afternoon. I ordered a special Americano & coffee bun for 4.77 plus tax $ 5. Coffee bun was very good buttery, crispy edges, soft middle one of the better coffee buns I’ve had. The downfall was the coffee, it was so watery wasn’t even hot. Really disappointing. Overall cute place, I would give it another go maybe with a latte next time.

A sweet spot I went to this place for lunch on a random Wednesday, and it was packed with well-dressed people. The decoration of this place quite simple. All wood tables and leather chairs. The bristas are really friendly, drinks are a bit more on the generic side, but pretty tasty. The food is really unique. I had the coffee bun sandwich. It was pretty much your typical breakfast sandwich in a coffee bun. I loved the sweet and savory combination. If you are in the area please swing by and try their freshly baked coffee bun! It’s sweet and delicious

I had heard of coffee buns in general from my friend, Becky H. so I was very excited to find this coffee bun place nearby my home. The atmosphere and décor is really charming. At first I was impressed with the service and care the staff took with packaging my to go order. They were even ready to wrap it but I was just taking this home and it wasn’t a gift. I don’t have any other coffee bun to compare this too but did enjoy it. Next time I would love to have one fresh in the store as I had to take this to go and reheat it in the oven when I got home. Tip: if you order 6 or more they are tax free.

My friends brought me here and I fell in love with their coffee buns. My usual orders are: original, vanilla bean(favourite!) and cream cheese(quite filling). It’s a cozy little café good for working/chatting with friends.

Sunday afternoon on our way to frd’s place for bbq, saw this place. Ordered a cream cheese coffee bun and a original bun, food serve in 10mins. Bun was warm, feel like came our from microwave, i will suggest reheat them from the small oven. That will make the bun taste better. Bun its abt a size of my palm, the filling its cream cheese i thought it will be home made cream cheese, so no surprise. But its a quiet place with piano music, great for study or chilling with frds.

Great atmosphere and friendly service. This Is a really good place to have something to eat and chat with friends. I especially like their bun here. Never see it anywhere else. The garlic bun I tried is very delicious. I would certainly come again and recommend others to give this place a try.

Has a great atmosphere for chatting with friends and even studying :) My favourite is the ice cream coffee bun: it has a scoop of vanilla ice cream inside a warm and spongy bun. There is also definitely something special that they coat their buns in before baking it too. Even if there are rarely more than 5 people at this café, I find that it takes a bit too long to get your order unless you just get a coffee. So if you are in a rush, maybe this may not be the best place to go. I also wish that they had something different other than americano coffee; it’s not really my type. Overall, I give the ice cream coffee bun a 5/5, but had to dock stars off due to their lack of promptness as well as variety. However I think it is worth a try! Like how can someone dislike ice cream in a bun?

We ordered a regular bun sandwich and a garlic and hub bun sandwich and an original coffee bun. We were very pleased with all three. The bun was soft on the inside with a nice coffee crust. The decorations and atmosphere are very pleasing. This is a place where it is very comfortable to carry a conversation. They also have a table with a big sofa and some lounge chairs that can probably seat 5 – 7 people. The rest of the tables are set up in twos but they can be pushed together. I would definitely recommend this place.

The Coffee Bun’s food is what entices me to come here again(which usually isn’t the case for cafés, eh). I recommend the original coffee bun(undoubtedly their specialty). They carry a wide assortment of flavours for coffee buns — some of which are typical for East Asian snacks and desserts, like red bean. Love how the coffee buns are homemade and heated when served! If you’re looking for something cold though, go for patbingsu, a traditional Korean dessert. The classic version is shaved ice with red bean and ice cream. But as all the patbingsus are priced the same, to get more bang for your buck, go with fruit patbingsu. That comes with assorted fruits in addition to the classic ingredients. The noise level is low enough to read, write, or play a game. Since most of the clientele and the entire staff are Korean, you can also choose to brush up on your Korean here.

Really nice and cozy looking place. Lots of tasty treats. Tried the latte. It was tons better than Starbucks. And it is certified organic. A deadly combination !

Cute and yummy place for coffee and a unique fluffy pastry bun. I really loved the aloe sweet tea, and the cream cheese bun! Love it so much, I want to, and really contemplating about opening a franchise in Seattle myself ;P
