A delicious breakfast. Had their very tasty Cumberland Benny with Pesto Hollandaise — yum. Really nice staff on a very busy day. Super cute town.

Went here for breakfast yesterday and everything was absolutely delicious! I had the Cumberlander Eggs Benedict(just without the portobello because I don’t care for mushrooms most of the time) and my husband had the Veggie Omelette and both plates were empty by the time we left!

Excellent breakfast! My wife and I both enjoyed the Egg’s Benedict this morning. It was artfully served with a nice side salad and fresh fruit. The interior is tastefully decorated. Mar, the owner is very friendly and professional. We’ll definitely be back.

A fantastic little gem for brunch! We arrived just as they were starting to close the kitchen; we hadn’t noticed the hours. There is a lot to choose from, but we quickly settled on our meals. The restaurant is an old concerted heritage house and is very nice inside. You can instantly feel a sense of history as soon as you walk in the door. Gorgeous old hardwood floors, large wooden beams and rustic décor make for an inviting dining experience. My wife had eggs benedict with corn and black bean quinoa. It looked great and she loved it. I had the beef dip, and was amazed by it. The bun was so soft and freshly baked that it soaked up the jus like gangbusters. Inside was tender roast beef, gooey Swiss cheese, and scrumptious sautéed mushrooms. The french fries were good and crispy, and I ordered a side of gravy(as usual). The gravy was a little salty but still very good. All in all a great place for brunch. I will definitely be back.

I came here for breakfast and it was just on a whim too. I didn’t do any research ahead of time and Cumberland didn’t have many options as it being a small town. My brother an I walked into the first restaurant we saw and he was already pretty skeptical because from past experiences, not many small towns offer descent food. The small one floor heritage home was transformed into a diner and the place can get busy when lunch time hits. There was no need to wait for a table as there was a steady group of people coming in and out coming to eat. The service was very prompt and quick. The lady was very quick at getting the orders to keep the diners from waiting too long. To keep the kids in the dining room occupied, they had colouring books to keep them occupied. I thought that it was a great idea as I didn’t see many kids fussy or acting out from being impatient. The food was so delicious! I had a pretty basic breakfast dish, eggs made any way you like, potatoes, ham and toast. The bread was brought from the local bakery, the ham looked like it came from a ham hock and cured by the local butcher or by themselves. I don’t, I didn’t get a chance to talk to the owners of the restaurant. My brother and I were busy stuffing our faces in. My brother order a smoked salmon, avocado and asiago cheese omelette. It was an awesome combination and might I just add that it’s pretty healthy.
