I don’t shop here as often as I might like but that’s mostly because it’s not conveniently located. That said, there are plenty of reasons for me to find my way to this Bulk Barn.
Obviously, the selection is a key element. As Bulk Barns go, the stock is fairly good and diverse. Staff actually seem to know what they’re doing. Prices are very reasonable.
…and that’s about it. I mean, what more do you need? It’s clean, good options, good prices, and good-​natured staff.

Bulk Barn seems to be offering more and more products for vegans. I suggest looking for sales to save money, as a lot of the regular priced items are a bit expensive but you can find some really great deals too. Today I found some of the Vega savi seeds that I love, regularly 9.99 on for 2 dollars! That is incredible! They have lots of vegan cookies, protein bars, agave, cereals and things like soy milk powder and TVP in their bulk bins.

Here’s another place you need to know your prices so you can compare. For the most part their prices are less or comparable to generic or store brands elsewhere.
Without a doubt, where you really save is on dried herbs and spices. I’ve found that I can purchase the same amount in bulk for up 90% less than buying bottled brands. Plus, you can buy in small amounts which is a good thing with herbs and spices because they do lose potency fairly quickly.
It’s also a great place to buy cake decorating and candy making supplies. About 40% cheaper then buying them at Michaels at regular price.

«The Bulk» is the place to be is you’re all set for a snack binge. .. but don’t know quite what to get!
The selection on everything is pretty massive and I’ve yet to go inside and come out empty handed. My favorite time to shop is around the holidays. Doesn’t matter what holiday, chances are they have something candy related, just ready to be devoured.
If baking/​cooking is your thing, this is also a good place to shop. They have all the necessities (spices/​chocolate/​flour) to make something delicious.

As Bulk Barns go it’s a great shop, just enough variety to satisfy any craving. Everything is well stocked and the store is clean. Every time I have gone in, the store is busy and there’s always enough staff to help you find something.

Putting the Bulk in Barn… or at least on my mid-​section.
I really like this Bulk Barn. Some of the other’s I’ve been to have been a little dirty and the staff miserable. This place is very clean and well organized. The staff are always willing to help me find some obscure blending ingredient. They are also starting to carry a larger organic selection which is nice to see… though I would like to see more.
Wheelchair accessible (though the bins will be a challenge in in a chair, but the staff will help you).

The Bulk Barn is a great place to buy all your spices. I usually stock up when I go, a lot of times they have them on sale 25 — 30% off.
We always hit the chocolate isle. It is a mandatory item in the cart. The chocolate macaroons, the yogurt covered pretzels, and raisins.
You can also buy as little or as much as you want. We like the bulk hard candies, we always buy a bag of these for my mom and dad.

Bulk Barn can be dangerous if you are hungry. I love going to the bulk barn and stocking up on some of my spices. I like the fact that you can regulate the quantity of them so if you are just wanting to try something you are able to do that as well.
Now the Candy isle is great especially when you are going to the movies. I like variety so you can get some small bags and a bit of this and a bit of that and it will fit right into your pocket. YUM!

I have seen the light. Never again will I buy things like flour, sugar, candy, soup mix, spices, and hundreds of other things you can scoop into a bag or container when there is a bulk barn nearby. Not only can you buy the exact amount you need, you can get it for cheap. That’s all there is to say.
