I am writing this review in a sort of by-​proxy way.
I did not go to Total Gas and fireplace for myself. My parents are buying a fireplace and after looking around and pricing out, Total Gas came out to be the cheapest by a fair bit.
My folks went in with two big requests, and were assured it would not be a problem.
Unfortunately, when they came to install the fireplace. it was not fulfilling one of the requests (that it be snug up against the wall). so they did raise issue and to Total Gas’s credit, it was fixed in about what amounted to a week’s time.
The retail store is warm (go figure) and really kind of neat. with all kinds of various options for fireplaces on display. Although I couldn’t imagine working their in the summer.
Anyways, all in all a good place to get your custom fireplace installed with good customer service.
