Sept 13 I bought a brand-​new 2015 camper from fraser way RV in abbottsford –I made an an appointment to pick it up at 5pm and get my orientation – finally at 5:45 they are ready for me – so the guy goes through the camper with me showing me various things inside the camper and how do use them .He was in a hurry because it was at the end of his shift and had worked a long day so he started rushing through the orientation –he help me load the camper I did the tiedowns and he wound up the jacks everything was supposed to be taken care of…
you would think when he winds up the jacks that he would make sure that they are secure —but he did not flip up the lock switch and mentioned nothing to me that I was needing to do this at any time–
Just Two days later I take the camper out for first night — on my way out going down the Forest service road there is a dip in the road and I hear a crunch –the Jack had come down and touched the road and ripped the corner out of the camper!!! it’s a good thing it didn’t happen on the freeway
I got a hold of my salesman right away and sent him pictures –he assured me that they shouldn’t come down for any reason whether they were locked or not and would let me know what Fraser Way would do but mentioning I would probably have to use my insurance??? I wonder what the insurance company would say???
I got passed around the dealership looking for someone to deal with my problem – there quick to talk to you when you’re buying but nobody returns your calls when you have a problem
finally service department takes a stand and blames the Happy Jack Company for the problem and sends them in for warranty because they felt that there was a problem with them !!!—
Happy jack says no there’s no problem with the Jack’s now there back to telling me I need to use my insurance again — total lack of taking responsibility
Their guy loaded the camper and mentioned nothing about the lock switches so they blame the Jack company and when jack company says there’s nothing wrong with the jacks they don’t want to take responsibility
they’re doing everything to get out of 1000 or $ 2000 repair bill! What a waste of time!!!
Also I need to mention it has numerous deficiencies with the camper and not all small ones — I just want to return it!! — and I would never suggest Fraser Way RV

I took my trailer in for multiple repairs. The first problem I encountered was the service receptionist was young, inexperienced, and, because her associate was on holiday, completely overwhelmed when faced with just two customers. I described in detail everything that needed to be repaired and left the trailer and the key with them. The following day, I called to ask her about one other thing that needed to be addressed and had to leave a message. I did not find out until two days later that she had quit her job and no one had apparently collected her phone messages — sloppy.
Now this trailer was borrowed and returned to me with many things damaged and the offending party had promised to pay for all repairs which is why i was there. Upon arriving to pick up my trailer, the repairman (Toby) showed me how everything had been fixed… except…a window blind that had been damaged that I had asked to be repaired. He told me repeatedly to «just go to Home Depot and buy the blinds and do it yourself.» I told him repeatedly that I did not want to do it myself and did not want a «patched together» repair. His response was «oh your husband can do it» — assuming A. I had a husband and B. that I could not have fixed it myself. I wanted it fixed to original condition not «patched together.» NOT an acceptable answer and, because I was to take the trailer out the following day, nothing could be immediately done about it until I returned so I took trailer having left it over a week and paid almost $ 1000.00 and yet still having to put a towel over the window.
Upon attempting to hitch my trailer, I discovered the repairman had also lost my key (I have the entire trailer — push through and doors — keyed the same) and he had lost my key. He then asked me to come inside and «identify my key» and we found it, right where he had not bothered to look, on a board with my name and phone number on the tag. He had no idea I had left keys to the trailer.
Bad customer follow through, incompetent staff, and over priced.
