My friend highly recommended me this place. I really like the glasses they carry!

Bought my last pair of glasses here, and I have to say the serving optician was far from kind. In fact it sticks out as some pretty terrible customer service.
That is the least of their issues. Bought my Gucci frames from them, and didn’t have any real problems with the frames. I only write this now because after getting my new prescription did I realize what a terrible job they did with my lenses, which were not cheap at all. I have fairly bad eye sight, so I require my glasses to be as thin as possible. I’m more than willing to pay for that premium because there is nothing worse than having thick, coke-​bottle like glasses. For the amount of money I paid, one would have expected quality craftsmanship.
Sadly that was not the case.
As I mentioned, I recently got my eyes check out again, and the first thing the optician who checked my glasses said, «how have you been wearing these?». This was the opinion of 3 other people opticians, including the optometrist who checked my eyes.
Upon getting new lenses in my frames, I noticed a complete difference (same prescription) which took all of 5 minutes to adjust to. I know the onus is on the consumer to ensure they are getting a quality product, but when it comes to something that you wear for the majority of the day, and perhaps for the rest of you life, you sort of automatically figure that some effort and care went into the production of the final product., especially considering the cost of the item.
Firstly, the lenses were poorly assembled to the frame of my glasses. Secondly, whoever made the lenses didn’t bother to check that the focus was centred with my eyes. In fact, they were located somewhere below, and off centre. Couple this with the slow turn around time, the rude customer service, and the poor craftsmanship, I have to say avoid this place at all costs. Take your business somewhere else that will put some effort into your glasses.
