Osler House is an authentically restored grand Victorian home built in 1848. It now operates as a boutique inn/upscale B&B, as well as an intimate venue for special celebrations and dinners. This historic home once belonged to the famous Osler family — including the father of modern medicine, Sir William Osler, as well as several famous lawyers, judges, and politicians who shaped modern Canada. Twice in the past 6 years we have hosted royalty here. The home is furnished with period antiques and reproductions, and gourmet meals are freshly prepared and served in the fashion of a bygone era with china, silver, crystal and linen settings.
The home is located on the most prestigious street in beautiful and historic Dundas, on one and a half private acres of private and secluded grounds. Several old and majestic trees grow on the property, including a gigantic and rare cucumber magnolia. You will often see deer grazing on the property.
All guest rooms are sumptuously decorated and not only

The owners purchased this home in 2006, and invested 3 years of time in restoring this beautiful home to it’s original grandeur. In addition, the bathrooms and the kitchen were modernized and infrastructure updated; the home was decorated in authentic historic colours, and furnished with antiques and reproductions acquired through auctions and antique stores.
The home has been featured on both the Holiday Home and the Doors Open tours; in several newspaper articles; in National Geographic Traveller online magazine; and received a heritage conservation award.
