Great lunch spot. Great rice and vermicelli bowls. Loved the Vermicelli bowl with lemongrass beef. It’s a full house at lunch, so try to get there early or it could be tough finding a table. I’ve also noticed that if you arrive after the rush arrives, it can take an extremely long time for your food to arrive.

When I worked in the area, I used to go to Fusia for lunch more often than I ever really wanted to. That’s the good and bad of a restaurant that is the only food place to serve an entire corporate building. I went there because it was convenient, not because I really liked it. But over a couple of years they got hundreds of my hard-earned dollars because I was running late in the morning and grabbed mediocre coffee from there, or grilled cheese and fries for lunch when I’d worked to the point of personal famine but forgot to bring a lunch that day. All I had to do was dial and order, then 10 minutes later go pick it up. I think most people in my office had their digits taped to their phone on even on speed-dial. Sometimes it’s all about location. The space, itself, is pretty lacking in character. It’s a cross between a casual Vietnamese diner and a pub, with two menus — their original one and the one from the last restaurant that was there before them. They didn’t want to alienate customers, so they continued to offer their favourites and a menu with soups, spring rolls, lemon grass chicken, etc.
