Thanks to its innovative expertise and customer-​oriented approach, Instant Storage has attracted many customers in Canada.

The Instant Storage phenomenon began in Canada in 1991 when founding Dennis Lawrence discovered a gap in the market: Instant Storage would provide individuals and businesses with extra space in mini-​warehouses and out side storage yards to store their excess belongings or their long forgotten records or documents.

The first Canadian store was opened in Edmonton, Alberta, in November 1991. In August 2005, Instant Storage began to move towards mobile storage and other new concepts.

Today Instant Storage’s Canadian presence focus is to create a premium network of purpose-​built storage centres in the most visible, accessible locations and to make moving and storing as painless as possible.
