J P Surplus & Exchange

Wow. I walked into JP Surplus & Exchange and almost didn’t get out. The place is so cluttered that I couldn’t even make it down some of the rows because there was junk everywhere.
And everything was dirty! I’m talking — afraid to touch because of the visible dirt on everything. It was really quite gross.
There are 3 rooms in total in JP Surplus. As I moved from room to room, the cleanliness seemed to improve slightly. The aisles of stuff were so narrow though, I felt like I should go on a diet after leaving!
The guy working was sitting in a chair right in front of the doorway when I walked in and looked at my surprised that I was in there. I asked if I could look around and he said sure, moving out of pathway. He was pretty friendly, I have to admit.
They only have a few shelves of DVDs, which was my reason for stopping in, so I was disappointed to leave empty handed but, then again, I didn’t touch anything so I was happy to leave with clean hands!
