Other than the fact that you might want a segway to get around(that really is one LOOOOOOONG hallway), the staff at this location are fantastic. I received a first notice in the mail for my appointment, and a second from the doctor’s office. I liked having two just in case one went missing. This is my second visit, this time for a different procedure. Today, I visited for a procedure that was going to take at least 45 minutes. The Nuclear Medicine tech(she never did introduce herself and darn I forgot to ask!) was spectacular. Her IV work was exceptional(there is NO bruise! Take that UofA Hospital), found a vein first try, and taking off the bandage, there is not a single drop of blood. There is one unusual item though. I noticed a syringe in a steel tube on a rolling trolley… disinfecting? Was it even used for my procedure? Perhaps shielding/containing the radioactive material? I can’t say it was or wasn’t used/re-used as I wasn’t able to watch from my position on the table. As I was fitted with a butterfly, I’m not sure. The tech was exceptional explaining the procedure and letting me know that she was nearby if I needed anything at all. She even manoeuvred the screen as close as she could so I could watch. During the procedure, the radiologist contacted the tech and wanted her to administer a drug. Luckily, it’s one I’m familiar with, so there wasn’t any need for complicated explanations. This facility is spotless, change rooms, washrooms, hallways etc. I have confidence in the safety of the patients. I have found them to be on time for your appointment, friendly, and the reminder calls with pre-procedure information is helpful and timely.

Wow, looks like a spa reception and 5-star hotel corridors. Very clean, high ceilings, decent staff and great doctor. Impressed and satisfied.

This is one of the nicest imaging places I’ve ever been to. It’s new, clean and well organized, and all of the staff we’ve dealt with have been friendly and professional. Today, we dealt with a great sonography student from Nait who explained everything really well for us and did a really good job taking a look at our baby. The wait times are never long, as they seem to have more than enough procedure rooms to go around. I really like the big flat screen TV monitors in the ultrasound suites. They make it really easy to see what’s going on, and to get a good idea of what you’re looking at, even if you’re not a pro. We’re planning on using this location for the rest of my pregnancy. Too notch.

I’ve been here a few times for various medical procedures. It wasn’t very busy both times and I didn’t have to wait long. I was brought into a numbered change room and provided a gown. I had to wait a few minutes and the lab tech came to take me to the procedure. The staff are friendly and explain what needs to be done and makes you feel comfortable. There are many washrooms along each row of change rooms and my belongings were safe in my closed room(although take your purse or valuables with you). It’s never pleasant to have a medical procedure done but they do their best to make it ok. There’s lots of free parking in the lot and it’s somewhat new so maybe people aren’t aware of this place yet. In the future if I need to have something done, I will be booking it here again.
