Peter Shiu, DDS

I a sudden problem with a molar and needed a dentist. Dr. Peter Shiu was recommended so I contacted the office and was able to get in early in the am the next day. He was gentle, thorough and had a very personable nature. He fixed the problem in no time and the bill was much less than I had figured.
Two things that struck me– The fact that they could accommodate me the next day was not due to the lack of patients but just because they were nice and got me in early in the morning (it was a very busy place). And 2– since there is no web site, really no marketing at all that I could find, says plenty about word of mouth.
There’s no fancy tv’s in the ceiling or things of that nature, but since I don’t watch TV at home, I don’t need them at my dentist office. You will see a little 80’s Dusty Rose furniture (just to be clear– dusty rose is a colour. Everything is very clean… no dust) but since the dental care is so exceptional, décor be damned. I was pleasantly surprised they were able direct bill my student coverage, which has been a problem at previous places. I made appointments for future services and pleased to have found a dentist that I feel confident in.
Edit– Just a small note. On my second visit I saw that the dusty rose has been replaced, or recovered, with an attractive blue that is much easier on the eyes.
