The Next Exit

Next Exit… where everyone knows my name, and they’re always glad I came. Or at least they used to know my name. When I lived back in Edmonton, Next Exit was my go to place. They carried the brands I loved, they always had a good mix of everyday and trendy. At one point, I could walk into that store and not have to look at a single article of clothing. The staff knew me and knew what I liked. It was the small town service I was used to growing up, but in the big city.
Now that was some years ago, I can’t say I’ve kept up with the folks at Next Exit, especially being that I’ve moved to Calgary. But about once a year, I make a trip up to West Edmonton Mall, and Next Exit is always there. And the staff, even though they are now strangers, have always been just as helpful as they once were.
If you like brands like Silver, Groggy, Orb, etc. or you like to buy good jeans, but not $ 300 jeans, I think you’ll find yourself enjoying spending a little time and money in this store.

This is a really interesting store. The have a huge selection of zip-​up thermal type of sweaters that come in lots of different colors and crazy but interesting designs and patterns. They also have a really great selection of jeans that have some nice designs on the back pocket. Oh they have this Jersey T-​shirt type of material as a jacket. It is really nice and very comfortable. They also have some nice accessories. At the back of the store they have a small but very nice selection of bags and purses; some of them were in really nice colors.
The staff is very friendly and cheerful. The store is pretty nice and very well kept. I recommend this place for those of you who are sweater girls. They have a huge selection!

I don’t shop here very often anymore.
I don’t find the clothes here to be anything special. They are nice but nothing stands out about them. I find them to be pretty plain.
The staff do their own thing and really only speak when spoken to, at least in my experiences they do.
Next Exit can have some good sales and I might pick up something here and there but I definitely won’t go out of my way to shop here.
