Martial Arts specialize in Olympic style taekwondo
Our taekwondo school is a home to many families within the Etobicoke, Toronto, and Mississauga areas. CFTP is community-driven, and combines discipline and fellowship both in and out of our taekwondo classes.
Historique
Fondé en 2001.
Alejandro Pereira established the CFTP with a considerable amount of hard work and dedication after discovering that Martial Arts gave him the balance he was missing in the areas of his life such as culture and education. When he saw his own personal results in studying and practicing Taekwondo he realized that he wanted to help others become more balanced in their lives in order to achieve their own personal goals.
Through much perseverance, he started a school in Paraguay called the Central Family Protection Program and soon after he started the Canadian Family Taekwondo Program in Toronto. In 1991, he registered the schools in both South America and Canada as the Canadian Family Taekwondo Program.
In 1993, Alejandro started to create his own system with his own instructional group. He created his own style because he wanted the Martial Arts Philosophy to relate back to its origins in all aspects again. He wanted the Taekwondo taught in his schools to support spirituality, physical

Member of numerous Martial Arts Associations such as: the International Taekwondo Federation (I.T.F), the World Taekwondo Federation (W.T.F.) and the American Taekwondo Association (A.T.A.)
During his years in South America, Master Alejandro acquired many personal accomplishments:
* Received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education
* Became a registered Message Therapist and Reflexologist
* Became a Taekwondo teacher at the UAA University in Paraguay
* National Boxing Champion from 1978 to 1982
* Participated in the Olympic Elimination games in 1990
* Pan-American Tournament Champion 1992
* International and Open Tournament Champion in 1993, 1994 and 1995
* Won the National Title in Kickboxing in 1995
* Uruguay Champion in Formula and Sparring in 1996
* Won the Chile Championship and Open Tournament
* Was an International Referee and was on the Technical Committee from 1994 – 2000
