Historique
Fondé en 1975.
Nestled on the banks of Sharpe’s Creek, the Ivey Dining Room is a haven of historic charm, natural beauty and authentic country inn hospitality. A century ago, the village of Benmiller centered around woollen, saw and grist mills. Today, the millstream still runs but the 19th century mills now play a far different role. The Woollen Mill, converted to the main building of the Benmiller Inn & Spa in 1975, is now home to our Guest Services and the Ivey Dining Room which has been awarded the CAA AAA Four Diamond Award for over a decade. The Chefs have always sourced local products for seasonal menus and have always been conscious of the environment impact. You will see much recycled history in the Lounge and Dining Room, and throughout the Inn.
