Historique

Fondé en 2015.

Opened in July of 2015 by Sheri Bishop, who also owns With the Grain, a bakery and café in Guelph, Ontario. Cadence’s vegan and vegetarian menu was largely inspired by Sheri’s mom who has been a vegan for over 10 years.

Very good quality meals. I recommend the green curry! They also offer vegan desserts and the chocolate cake was very delicous. Will be back! My partner really liked the penne pasta too.

My husband and I stopped by this little vegetarian/vegan restaurant for lunch and we loved it! We ordered the creamy edamame sandwich with house-made sauerkraut, nachos and refried beans. The sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was perfect for a light lunch. The nachos were really good and were the perfect accompaniment to the refried beans. They are served with pico de gallo and homemade vegan cheese and sour cream that rivals their dairy counterparts (my husband is still raving about it). With its friendly staff and almost entirely vegan menu, we will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu!

Stopped by for a drink and something sweet to go. I had an iced matcha made with almond milk and I don’t recall what sweet I chose because I’ve never had anything like it before. It looked like a brownie but tasted like fudge and chocolate pie. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in the mood for a sit-down lunch c:
