We saw this restaurant and decided to try it. I was glad we did. We went on a Monday night at 7, and it was not very busy so we got a table right away. The menu had both Thai and Vietnamese food with a good selection to choose from. The food was prepared fairly fast and the portion size was generous for the price. An added bonus was that the vegetable appeared to be fresh not frozen. Some last minute info, the restaurant accepts credit cards and interac. In closing, if you are in the area and want some good food I recommend that you check out this place.

Before doing my groceries a few stores down, I thought I’d FINALLY give Tom Yum a try. To my surprise, they didn’t offer Pad See Ew, which is what I was craving for, and after speaking with the waiter, who recommended I try another noodle dish that is similar, I decided on Pad-Thai for take-out. Off I went to do my groceries. I returned no more than 15 minutes later, expecting to wait a few more minutes, but my order was ready! So I took my noodles and headed home to devour my meal. At first glance, the pad thai looked VERY good and veggies were not overdone. Digging in, I noticed the generous amount of chicken and shrimp, not to mention how clean tasting they were. Bonus — shrimp poop was nowhere in sight! I can’t tell you how happy that made me. Despite not having what I initially wanted, Tom Yum redeemed itself with its quick service and absolutely delicious food. Definitely my fave Pad-Thai in the Guelph area. I will be back to try more off the menu. Decent prices too, considering the generous amount of food you get. It’s no wonder they’re called Tom Yum!(lame, i know) In all seriousness, I really hope they’re here to stay!

1⁄5 stars mainly for the service and price. 2.5÷5 for the actual dish I got. First off, I wanted to order the Lemongrass Beef on rice so II wrote on my order sheet«Lemongrass Beef». There were no numbers associated with each item so that is all I wrote. The waitress came by, looked at my order, and then left. 10 minutes later she comes out with Lemongrass Beef on Vermicelli. I explained to her politely that that was not the dish I was expecting. I was expecting her to take it back and just put rice on it. However, instead she just looked at me and said ‘oh sorry’. When I again asked if she could take it back she just stood there and said ‘oh sorry’. I ended up eating my food in disgust. The total bill came out to be $ 11. Cons: Overpriced, poor service, food quality obviously not as good as Toronto.
