All the other YMCAs in Ontario should be forced to tour the Y in Guelph to see how it is done. Not only is this gym spotless, but it has a very professional feel. When I visited, everything was running like a clock: there were classes downstairs, a full daycare, people eating at the café, and folks using about half of the treadmills. Everything about this place just feels great. it feels like a place that you can safely bring your family and everyone will have a good time. Even though they didn’t have the most modern equipment in every area, you could tell it was all well-​maintained. If I ever move to Guelph, I’d join here in a heartbeat.
